Biscuits for the Masses

Biscuits for the masses

Serves: 100
Ready in: 45 mins (30 mins Prep - 15 mins Cook)

This will fill your cookie jar, with a different variety of biscuits in one easy recipe.

Ingredients
500g butter
400g condensed milk
1¼ cup caster sugar  (312 grms)
5 cups self raising flour (1250 grms)

Any combination of these ingredients I use to make different cookies:
3 tablespoon cocoa & ¾ cup choc bits
1/2 cup glazed cherries and ¾ cup white choc bits
3 teaspoons grated orange rind and 1 cup choc bits
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts and 3/4 cup choc bit
1½ cups M&Ms
or
roll into balls, make indent in centre and add your favourite jam
roll into balls and press into 100s & 1000s
roll into ball and press into raw sugar and cinnamon

Preparation method  In a large bowl cream butter, sugar and condensed milk until light and creamy in texture.

Add the flour, mix well and then divide into 4 portions. Add the other ingredients suggested above to each portion as desired.  Combine all ingredients together, roll tablespoon of the mixture into balls and flatten slightly.  Place on tray leaving room for spreading. Bake for 14 to 16 minutes or until light golden in colour, allow to stand for 5 minutes on tray, then place on wire rack until cool
